Welcome to the new Acaramia blog. I’m so excited about 2023. I am making a few changes this year. A new look for the website, new dads for our litters (I can’t wait to see what their kids look like!), a few new additions to the breeding program (more on those later) and this new blog to name a few.

As many of you know Acaramia is a well established Ragdoll cattery. We began this adventure in 1996 as Emberhearth cattery and had our first litters in 1998. We’ve made many long term friends and have had many happy families who have adopted some wonderful cats from us over the years. I’ve got scrapbooks full of old photos, you know Polaroid and printed, the old school type lol.

I was recently going through a few of them and on thinking about trips down memory lane I decided to begin a blog. It won’t be daily or even weekly as this is all new to me but if you’re patient… a few new lines will roll out and you can grab your coffee and a handful of Hershey kisses, cuddle the cat and travel with me. Some will be reminiscing about our time and experiences with our Ragdolls, some Ragdoll history, of course cat care in general and then anything else I find interesting and/or amusing. I’m hoping you will join in with suggestions for future topics. See you soon…
